Caramel Apple Cocktail with Homemade Caramel Sauce

Enjoy the flavors of fall - in your cup! This sangria-esque cocktail is perfect for that Halloween party or Thanksgiving dinner - and it’s only FIVE ingredients, plus a recipe to top this decadent drink off with a homemade caramel drizzle!

Caramel Apple Cocktail

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Serves: 6


  • 1/2 cup caramel vodka

  • 1 cup apple liquor

  • 750 ml sparkling white wine

  • 2 Granny Smith apples - sliced or diced (NOTE: If doubling the recipe, you do not need to double the amount of apples)

  • Caramel drizzle (homemade** or store-bought - optional)


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large pitcher.

  2. Chill and serve topped with caramel drizzle. Enjoy!


**Homemade Caramel Sauce


  • 2 tablespoons (1oz) unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup (50g) packed brown sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add heavy cream, brown sugar, and salt. Stir well.

  3. Bring to a gentle simmer and allow to cook for 4 minutes, until thickened, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla. Transfer to an air-tight jar for storage to cool until ready to serve.
