Super easy and great to include on cheese boards, this fig and mascarpone appetizer is an old favorite we used to make at the Belo Mansion here in Dallas. Just a smear of mascarpone and a dollop of Fig Jam make a fabulously easy, self-serve appetizer. Little slices of fig or pear make a great garnish, or just serve as is.

Choose 2-3 of your favorite Cheeses:
1) Soft: Brie, Gorgonzola, fresh Mozzarella or Mascarpone
2) Mild: Aged Cheddar, Muenster, or Gouda

Pick a few Breads or Crackers
I chose butter and wheat crackers in the board above, but toasted baguette slices, seeded crackers and water crackers also make great additions.
