Ingredients:
1 recipe - brioche dough (Learn How)
1 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar (light) - packed
1 1/2 tablespoon(s) cinnamon (ground)
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt (iodized)
4 tablespoon(s) butter (unsalted) - softened
4 ounce cream cheese - softened
1 tablespoon(s) milk (whole)
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup(s) sugar (powdered)
Steps:
-Prepare the recipe Brioche Dough. Prepare one cake pan. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. (Learn How)
-Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a clean surface. Roll the dough into a rectangle. (Learn How)
-Combine the brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut the butter into the sugar in large pieces. Spread an even layer of this mixture over the rolled dough.
-Roll the dough onto itself into a cylinder. Tuck each end in and pinch to seal. Pinch the seam to seal.
-Cut the rolled dough into 8 equal pieces. Place the cut pieces evenly spaced into a prepared cake pan.
-Cover the pan with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise a second time (about 1 hour).
-Once the rolls have doubled in size, remove the plastic and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
-While the buns are baking, mix the cream cheese, milk, vanilla and sugar.
-Cool the buns slightly on a wire rack and ice with the cream cheese glaze.
