Sugar Cookie Icing

wire rack with tray (seasoning, cooling, resting)

Once your cookies are baked, cool them completely before icing.
Ingredients:
1 cup(s) sugar (powdered)
2 teaspoon(s) milk (whole)
2 teaspoon(s) corn syrup (light)
1/4 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract - or Almond Extract

Steps:

-Mix all ingredients well.

-Divide into shallow bowls.

-Color with your choice of food colorings.

-Dip the face of the cookie into the icing.

-Hold the cookie over the bowl to let the excess icing drip.

-Place the cookie on a flat surface or wire rack to dry completely.

Pairs With:

If you are using edible sprinkles or other decoration, allow the cookies to dry for 2 minutes, then sprinkle on decorations.
