Ingredients:
1 recipe - basic pie crust - 10-inch, parbaked (Learn How)
3 eggs
2 cup(s) pumpkin puree
3/4 cup(s) sugar
1 1/2 cup(s) milk (whole)
2 tablespoon(s) butter - melted
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt (iodized)
1/2 teaspoon(s) ginger (ground)
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg (ground)
1 pinch cloves (ground)
3/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon (ground)
Steps:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-Separate 1 of the eggs, and beat the egg white with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush the beaten egg white on the parbaked crust.
-Beat the egg yolk with the remaining eggs. Add the pumpkin and beat well.
-Beat in the sugar, milk, melted butter, salt, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.
-Pour into the pie crust and bake until set, 40-50 minutes.
-Cool to room temperature before serving.
