Allow 30 minutes to rise.
Ingredients:
3 cup(s) flour (self-rising)
1/4 cup(s) sugar
1 beer - 12 oz.
Steps:
-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
-Mix the flour and sugar together in a large bowl. Add the beer and gently mix together.
-Pour dough into prepared pan. (Dough will be very sticky)
-Allow to rise outside the oven for 30 minutes.
-Place on the middle rack in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Experiment with addtions to this basic recipe, such as adding cheese and peppers.
