This recipe is meant for a springform pan. However, you can reduce the ingredients slightly for a pie dish.
Ingredients:
2 cup(s) graham cracker crumbs
4 tablespoon(s) sugar (granulated)
8 tablespoon(s) butter (unsalted) - melted, as needed
Steps:
-Combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
-Add melted butter in 2 tablespoon increments until the mixture can be squeezed in the palm of your hand and holds shape.
-Press into the bottom and up the sides of a springform pan.
-If your recipe calls for baking the crust, bake at 350 about 8 minutes. If it calls for unbaked crust, cover with plastic and refrigerate.
A smooth bottomed glass or the bottom of a measuring cup can be used to ensure the crust is tightly packed into the pan.
