Ingredients:
1 pound spaghetti
1/4 cup(s) olive oil - divided
6 garlic cloves - peeled and minced (Learn How)
1 pinch red chile flakes (ground) - to taste
1/2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
1/4 cup(s) Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 pinch salt and pepper - to taste
Steps:
-Bring water to a boil in a gallon stock pot. Cook the pasta and drain; reserve a 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid.
-Do not rinse the pasta. Add a little oil to coat and toss.
-Meanwhile, heat a large saute pan to medium and then add the remaining oil.
-Add the garlic and slowly toast until it just turns golden. Immediately add the chile flakes, lemon juice and reserved liquid.
-Add the pasta to the saute pan with the Parmesan, and toss.
-Season to taste.
-Serve immediately.
