| -Combine the sugar, water, lemon, honey and vanilla in a small saucepan. |
| -Reduce over low heat and cook until the mixture reaches the consistency of a glaze. |
| -Meanwhile, heat a grill to medium-high flame. |
| -The key to grilling the peaches is making sure the grates are clean and brushed with oil right before the peaches go on. |
| -Brush the peach halves with melted butter and place on the grill, cut-side down. |
| -Grill the peaches for 2 minutes without moving them. If you try to move them too soon they will tear. |
| -After the 2 minutes, flip them over and cook for another 2 minutes. |
| -Remove and drizzle with the glaze. |
| -Top with desired toppings. |
