Steps: |
| -In a large saute pan, melt butter on medium heat. |
| -Add sugar and cinnamon, and continue cooking until mixture is bubbly. |
| -Add bananas and cook for 2-3 minutes, basting constantly. |
| -Stir in banana extract. |
| -In a small saucepan with a long handle, heat rum just until warm and remove from heat. |
| -Remove the pan containing the sugar and banana mixture from the burner. Pour warmed rum over bananas. With a long match, ignite rum. |
| -Baste bananas with sauce until flames die down. |
| -Serve immediately. |
