Ingredients:
1 2/3 cup(s) flour
1 1/4 cup(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) cocoa - unsweetened
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt (iodized)
1 cup(s) buttermilk
1/2 cup(s) vegetable oil
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
Steps:
-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly butter and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
-Sift together the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients.
-Mix the wet ingredients into the dry.
-Spread in the prepared pan and bake for 35-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean from center.
-Let cool for 5 minutes, remove from pan onto a cooling rack.
