Ingredients: | | 4 ounce bacon - diced and cooked (fat reserved) | | 2 teaspoon(s) sugar | | 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) honey | | 3/4 teaspoon(s) apple cider vinegar | | 1 shallot - peeled and minced (Learn How) | | 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil | | 1 pinch salt and pepper - to taste | |
Steps: | | -Cook the bacon slowly to render off the fat. Save the fat and set the bacon to the side. | | -In a small pot, heat up the sugar, honey, cider vinegar and shallot.
