Ingredients:
4 ounce bacon - diced and cooked (fat reserved)
2 teaspoon(s) sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) honey
3/4 teaspoon(s) apple cider vinegar
1 shallot - peeled and minced (Learn How)
2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 pinch salt and pepper - to taste
Steps:
-Cook the bacon slowly to render off the fat. Save the fat and set the bacon to the side.
-In a small pot, heat up the sugar, honey, cider vinegar and shallot. Heat to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
-Then slowly whisk in the olive oil and the reserved bacon fat.
-Season and keep warm off to the side.
