Ingredients:
2 cup(s) flour (all-purpose)
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt (iodized)
3 tablespoon(s) butter (unsalted) - cold, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 cup(s) ice water
4 tablespoon(s) water
3 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoon(s) kosher salt
Steps:
-Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
-In a food processor, add flour, baking powder, and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt; pulse.
-Add butter and pulse until mixture is formed into tiny balls.
-Leave processor on and add all water until dough starts to form.
-Remove dough and place on a lightly floured surface.
-Pat into a rectangle, 1-inch thick.
-Take a rolling pin and roll the dough into a 10 x 12-inch rectangle, 1/4-inch thick.
-Cut the dough into 1/4-inch-wide strips.
-Roll each strip 14-inches long.
-Brush one strip with water and twist with another, and repeat with the other strips.
-Arrange on a sheet pan, brush with oil and sprinkle with salt.
-Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden.
