Steps: |
| -In a large bowl, whisk the flour, eggs, 1 tablespoon of oil, and seasonings together. |
| -Pour the beer into the bowl, and whisk together until lump-free. |
| -Separate the the onion rings. |
| -Heat the oil to 370 degrees. |
| -Working in batches, dip the rings into the batter and shake of any excess. |
| -Gently place in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. |
| -Turn and continue frying until both sides are golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. |
| -Remove and place on a paper towel to drain. Lightly sprinkle with salt, if desired. |
| -Continue with remaining onions. |
