Make this a day ahead to refrigerate overnight.
Ingredients:
8 slices bread - trimmed and torn
6 eggs - beaten
2 1/4 cup(s) milk
1 pound pork sausage - cooked, crubled, and drained
2 cup(s) Cheddar cheese - grated
1 cup(s) cream of chicken soup (condensed)
1/2 cup(s) milk
Steps:
-Butter a 13 x 9-inch pan.
-Line the bottom of the pan with bread pieces.
-Whisk eggs and 2 1/4 cups milk in a small bowl; pour over bread.
-Spread a layer of sausage over the eggs mixture.
-Spread cheese over the sausage.
-Whisk the soup and remaining milk together. Pour over the top of the casserole.
-Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
