Grilling corn inside of the husk will leave the kernels sweet and plump with a light smokiness. | Firmly hold the corn at the end of the husk with one hand. This hand will prevent the husk from coming all the way off the ear of corn. Pull with the other hand, making sure to only pull the husk three-quarters of the way down the ear.

Remove all the silk you can. You can flavor your corn inside the husk with seasoning and/or butter. Gently pull the corn husk back over the ear of corn. If the husk is long enough, tie two of the ends together; if not, kitchen twine can also be used. | Soak the corn inside the cleaned husk in a bowl of water for 20 minutes before grilling it. Place the whole husk on the grill over low heat. Grill the corn for approximately 20 minutes, turning often, and then remove. Let cool, clean the husk off and discard.
