A Step-by-Step How To: Baby Back Ribs - Cleaning
Dry the rack of ribs with paper towels and place them on a cutting board.
Flip the ribs over so that the under, bone side is facing up.
Gently place the tip of a knife in between the thin membrane and one of the bones at the end.
When the membrane has come away from the bone, place your finger underneath to loosen it.
Slide your finger under the membrane to release it from the closest corner.
Once you have enough to grab onto, grasp it with a kitchen towel.
Pull straight up to remove the membrane in one piece.
