Begin cleaning the pomegranate by cutting into the center.

When it is halved, the center white pulp and seed sections will be exposed.

Place one half of the pomegranate into a deep bowl filled with water.

Begin breaking the pomegranate half into pieces. Any messy juice will remain in the water.

The white pulp and skin will float to the top of the water. Remove all of the bits floating on top of the water.

All of the seeds will sink to the bottom of the water. They can easily be collected by hand or by straining the water.
