As for the Swissmar Classic peelers; these are the best I have ever used. I have tossed all others out and have several of these ones in use at all times; Cheese, garnishes, fruits, vegetables, chocolate, frozen butters, frozen/iced tuna peels etc.
A great use is for carrots. Clean and peel a carrot. Continue to peel carrot on one side creating wider peels, stack several peels together. Use a knife and slice the stack of peels very thinly on a bias creating very fine julienne carrots. Marinate julienne carrots with a good Japanese Rice Wine Vinegar for an easy garnish or salad. I also use the julienne carrots in sushi.</description>
